MSc. Fabrizio Ardiles
MSc. Fabrizio Ardiles
I’m a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Nottingham. I study international and monetary economics, with a focus on how currency unions should be formed, and how monetary policy should be designed for commodity-exporting economies. My job market paper has been accepted for publication in Oxford Economic Papers (forthcoming).
I hold two master’s degrees—an MSc in Mathematical Modelling at Universidad Mayor de San Andrés and an MA in Policy Economics at Williams College—plus a Professional Certificate in Data Science at Harvard University.
I was twice awarded First Place in the National Research Award of the Central Bank of Bolivia (2018 and 2024), in recognition of the quality and policy relevance of my research. My work has also appeared in outlets such as VoxLACEA and the Central Bank’s Revista Análisis.
I’ll be on the academic job market in the 2025–26 cycle.
