Biography

Fabián Olivera (Member, IEEE & SBMicro) studied electronic engineering at University of the Republic (UDELAR), Montevideo, Uruguay. He received the MSc (2013) and PhD (2017) degrees in electronic engineering at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Brazil. He is currently full professor at the Federal Center for Technological Education of Rio de Janeiro (CEFET/RJ), and professor at the postgraduate programs in electrical engineering (PPEEL) and in instrumentation and applied optics (PPGIO) of the CEFET/RJ. He is visiting professor at the postgraduate program of electrical engineering of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (PEE/COPPE/UFRJ). He has worked since 2009 in the field of microelectronics/electronics and his area of knowledge is analog and mixed-mode integrated circuit design for ultra-low-power applications.
