To create a study set:
Create / Log In to your Quizlet account.
Click on the “Create a Study Set” icon located on the right side of the search bar.
Create a title for your new study set. You may also create a description for your study set.
Change the study set settings regarding your needs.
Change the visibility (i.e., visible to everyone, visible to people with a password)
Change the edit features (i.e., only editable by me, only editable to people with a password)
Add terms and definitions in the appropriate boxes. It is also possible to change the language for the terms and definitions.
A term can be in French and the definition in English.
Add any other information that would help you study (i.e., images or Power Point presentations)
Once you have added all your terms and definitions, click on the “Create” icon. It is always possible to edit your study set in the future by clicking on “Add or Remove Terms” on the study set main menu or by clicking on the pencil icon for specific edits.
Existing study sets: Quizlet has a wide range of study sets covering a wide range of subjects and topics created by other people, that anyone can use for their own reviewing.
Additional information: With Quizlet, you have the option of creating or joining a class. This class will enable you to view the same study sets as whoever else is in the class, as well as to add your own study sets. Click on the “Join or create a class” button located on the far left-side of the page. It will also show you which classes you belong to. You can create specific folders for your classes by clicking “create a folder” on the far-left side of the page. You can add and remove study sets from these folders.
