I've been around this world for a little while, and during my life I've seen many things come and pass. I was born and raised in American Samoa, a beautiful island in the south pacific that I have the privilege of calling home. I am a United States Marine Corps Veteran, and a forerunner in the Polynesian gaming community and Poly movement. A father to two boys and husband to my beautiful wife.
In the last decade the world has become a place of differences and division, more so even recently. I have made it my goal to be a light to this world and help people where I can. Whether it be showing everyone my mistakes so that others may learn from it, or being right next to them during the trials and fire. Whatever it may be, my ONLY INTENTION is to serve and help others.
I created this blog in order to help those specifically in the video game streaming industry. In the past, games were something frowned upon but today it has become enlaced into society and part of our norm. Video came streaming has become even more popular in the last 5 years. But just like starting a business, many struggle to take the leap of faith into the gamer streamer's world, or fail early on due to the lack of guidance.

Where did the name Guccitorch come from?
Where did the name Guccitorch come from?
Fun fact: my two son's game up with the name. So all of my previous gamer tags were "torch1007", this was back in the day during my early Xbox and Xbox 360 days. Well unfortunately I couldn't use the name anymore due to it being linked to older accounts and what not.
Well one day the song "Gucci Gang by Lil' Pump" was playing in our kitchen google home speaker. As it was playing I was trying to set up my kids Xbox One accounts and this is when I explained my personal connection to my "torch1007" tag to my sons. My eldest combined the vibes from the song with my old gamer tag and came up with Guccitorch. I've stuck with it ever since and plan to keep it forever.

I mentioned earlier that I was born and raised in American Samoa. It's a little piece of paradise located in the South Pacific, dead smack center of the Pacific Triangle.
Some of my earlier life was spent in Oahu, Hawaii. My father was in the NAVY and so the military moved us around a bit but eventually we'd find our way back to American Samoa where I'd finish high school and my 2 years of community college.
I later joined the Marines, where I served 5 years as an aviation technician and was honorably discharged. I found myself doing a few things at once: (1) Playing video games, (2) Going back to school for Engineering & Physics, (3) Better connecting with my wife and kids and making sure that I became the father and husband that they needed me to be.
