“Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.”
My teaching philosophy emphasizes active learning, student engagement, conceptual understanding, and the development of mathematical reasoning.
I believe that mathematics education should extend beyond memorizing formulas and procedures. Students should understand the underlying principles, appreciate the logical structure of mathematics, and develop the ability to apply mathematical concepts to unfamiliar problems.
In my classroom, I strive to create an environment that encourages participation, critical thinking, collaborative learning, and independent problem-solving.
My teaching experience encompasses undergraduate and graduate mathematics, including calculus, differential equations, probability and statistics, finite mathematics, and advanced mathematical analysis.
I am committed to continuous improvement in teaching and have earned the Certificate in Effective Online Instruction from the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE).

My commitment to mathematics education extends beyond classroom instruction.
I have served as an Advanced Placement (AP) Calculus Reader for the College Board since Summer 2024, participating in the evaluation of free-response examination responses using standardized scoring guidelines.
I earned the Certificate in Effective Online Instruction from the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) in March 2022.
My teaching and mentoring activities also include supporting undergraduate research, student advisement, mathematics tutoring, and initiatives aimed at strengthening student success in the mathematical sciences.
