Dr. Eze R. Nwaeze is a tenured Associate Professor of Mathematics and a member of the Graduate Faculty in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Alabama State University, Montgomery, Alabama, USA.
He earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Auburn University in December 2015 under the supervision of Professor Narendra K. Govil. His doctoral research focused on the geometry of zeros and Bernstein-type inequalities concerning the growth of polynomials. He also holds a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from Auburn University, a Master's degree in Pure and Applied Mathematics from the African University of Science and Technology, Abuja, Nigeria, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Ebonyi State University, Nigeria.
Before joining Alabama State University in 2019, Dr. Nwaeze served as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Tuskegee University from 2015 to 2019. He was promoted to tenured Associate Professor at Alabama State University in August 2024.
His research interests include mathematical inequalities, fractional calculus, generalized convexity, dynamical systems on time scales, and the growth properties and geometry of zeros of complex polynomials. His research contributions have appeared in numerous peer-reviewed mathematical journals.
Beyond research and teaching, Dr. Nwaeze is actively involved in academic mentorship, scholarly reviewing, editorial activities, and professional service. He has served as a reviewer for Mathematical Reviews of the American Mathematical Society and zbMATH, and as Guest Editor for several special issues of Fractal and Fractional.
He is committed to advancing mathematical knowledge, fostering academic collaboration, and promoting excellence in mathematics education.
