Founder & Creative Director, Mystique Afrique

Mystique Afrique is a fresh, new festival launched in 2018 to create a space for African arts and culture during Toronto’s premier contemporary art event, Nuit Blanche.

The inaugural Mystique Afrique was a bright and upbeat communal affair that drew an energetic crowd of 150+ people. Creating a platform for local artists, the event hosted thoughtful conversations about Black and African arts, high-energy performances, and a healthy dose of celebration. The festival returns to the city on September 28th 2019.
