Welcome to Exterior Paint Visualizer, a mobile application developed by JanoGroup LLC that helps users upload house exterior photos, choose paint colors and paintable surfaces, and generate AI-powered exterior paint previews.
Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, stored, and protected when you install or use the app. By downloading, accessing, or using Exterior Paint Visualizer, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
## Information We Collect
### Personal Information
Exterior Paint Visualizer does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address, phone number, precise location, home address, or payment card details.
If you contact us for support, we may receive your email address, message, attachments, and any information you choose to include so we can respond to your request.
The app and its service providers may create or use a random app user identifier to support functionality such as subscriptions, premium access, credits, advertising, diagnostics, and troubleshooting. This identifier is not intended to identify you by name.
### Photos, Paint Choices, and Prompts
To generate an exterior paint visualization, the app may process:
- House exterior photos that you take with your camera or select from your photo library
- Selected paint colors, color names, hex values, brand names, and paint codes
- Selected paintable areas such as siding, trim, shutters, doors, garage doors, brick, stucco, or other exterior surfaces
- Custom notes or prompt text that you choose to enter
- Generated before-and-after exterior paint previews
Photos, paint selections, and prompts are used to create the requested AI visualization. You should avoid uploading images or entering text that includes sensitive personal information that you do not want processed by the app or its service providers.
### Local App Data
The app may store information locally on your device, including:
- Onboarding status and app settings
- Selected colors, recent colors, paint targets, and custom notes
- Credit balances, generation counts, and free quota status
- Saved visualization history and generated preview images
- Subscription or premium access status cached from the subscription provider
- Review prompt status and other app preferences
Local app data is used to provide the app's features and personalize your experience. If your device or operating system backs up app data, that backup is controlled by your device, platform, or cloud backup settings.

## Camera and Photo Library Permissions
Exterior Paint Visualizer may request access to your camera so you can take house exterior photos. It may request access to your photo library so you can choose existing exterior photos or save generated paint previews.
You can manage camera, photo library, and related permissions through your device settings. The app does not require access to your full photo library unless you choose to grant that access through your device's permission controls.
## AI Processing
Exterior Paint Visualizer uses AI services to create paint visualization results. The app sends generation requests through a Cloudflare Worker proxy operated for this app, rather than calling Replicate directly from the app. The proxy forwards the information needed to complete your request to the AI provider.
Generation requests may include your uploaded image, image type, selected paint colors, paint codes, selected paintable surfaces, and prompt text. The expected AI provider for exterior paint generation is Replicate using the google/nano-banana model. Where configured, the app may also use OpenAI services to help analyze a house exterior photo or create a better paint visualization prompt.
JanoGroup LLC does not sell your uploaded photos or generated images. We do not use your house photos to identify you or determine your address. AI providers may temporarily process or retain request data according to their own privacy policies, security practices, abuse prevention rules, and service terms.
## Subscriptions and Purchases
The app may offer optional premium features, subscriptions, trials, credit packs, or other in-app purchases. Purchases are processed by the applicable app marketplace, such as Apple App Store or Google Play, and subscription access may be managed through RevenueCat.
We do not receive or store your full payment card number, bank account information, or complete billing credentials. App stores and payment providers process payment details under their own privacy policies and terms.
RevenueCat may receive information needed to manage subscription status and entitlements, such as the app's random user identifier, product identifiers, entitlement status, purchase status, and related transaction metadata.
## Advertising
The app may display advertisements through Google AdMob for users who do not have an ad-free premium experience.
AdMob and related advertising services may process device information, advertising identifiers, approximate location inferred from network information, ad interactions, and other data as described in Google's policies. JanoGroup LLC does not maintain a user account system for this app and does not store your payment card details. AI requests are processed through the app's Cloudflare Worker proxy and relevant AI providers. Providers may retain limited request, output, log, or diagnostic data for a period described in their own policies for purposes such as service operation, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, security, and legal compliance.
Subscription and purchase records may be retained by app marketplaces, RevenueCat, or related providers as needed for purchase validation, support, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.
## Data Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information handled by the app, including HTTPS/TLS network requests for supported services. However, no app, device, network, or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. AI-generated paint previews may not perfectly reflect real paint appearance, lighting, texture, surface condition, product availability, HOA rules, historic district rules, building codes, contractor requirements, or professional color consultation.
The app does not provide architectural, construction, engineering, legal, real estate, or professional painting advice. You are responsible for verifying paint colors, samples, materials, availability, surface preparation, permits, rules, and professional requirements before making any purchase or applying paint to a property.
## Children's Privacy
The app is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
