Daniel is a first-year MA student in the Classics and Archaeology program at Brock University in the Text and Culture stream. His research is focused on agricultural practices in the Greco-Roman world, a significant component of which was the use of enslaved labour.
Rachel Fawcett is a second-year MA student with Brock University's Department of Classics and Archaeology. She is in the Art and Archaeology stream. Her research interests are in the archaeological record of disenfranchised peoples of the Greco-Roman world. Her current research looks at 5th-century BCE Athenian representations of Achaemenid Persians.
Madelyn is a second-year MA student in the Classics and Archaeology program at Brock University in the Text and Culture stream. Her research is focused on the depiction of slavery through literary interpretations of enslaved people's perspective, which inspired her examination of the lead letter, an actual first-person account of slavery from Lesis.
Allison Glazebrook is a professor in the Department of Classics and Archaeology at Brock University. She is a social and cultural historian of the ancient Greek world with a special focus on classical Athens.
Miranda is a first-year graduate student in the Classics and Archaeology program at Brock University in the Art and Archaeology stream. Her research interests include the archaeology of Greek and Roman houses and cultural interactions within households.
Lucie is a senior undergraduate Classics Major at Brock University in the Greek and Roman Studies stream. Her research interests include Greek and Latin translation and the intersection of gender studies within Classics.
Isabella McLaughlin is a first year MA student in Brock University's Critical Sociology program. Her research focuses on socio-economic stratification of post secondary and graduate education programs, and how this stratification contributes to a professionalization and gatekeeping of crucial social institutions. She also has academic interest in Classical Studies, specifically looking at how gender and identity politics played out in ancient Greek societies.
Cassidy is a first-year graduate student in the Classics and Archaeology program at Brock University in the Art and Archaeology stream. She is primarily focused on underwater archaeology but has a personal research interest in uncovering the invisible in the archaeological record.
Basil is a first-year MA student in the the Classics and Archaeology program at Brock University. Their interests include Greco-Roman mystery religions, mythology and ancient Thracian culture.
