Watch a few of the six videos where contributors discuss the kind of advice they would give to psychologists working with their kinds of difficulties, then consider these questions:
If you are not already a clinician...
- What do you think these videos show about the possible most useful factors in therapy?
- Do the descriptions given fit more or less closely with anything you already know about particular models of therapy?
- Is there anything which wasn't said that you would want if you ever accessed therapy?
If you are a clinician already...
- Was there anything they said that would be helpful, and which you think you could do more of in your own clinical practice?
- Was there anything that they really didn't like, but you know that you have done yourself in your own clinical practice? Do you think that you would change it, or do you still think it is the right thing to do?
- Based on these accounts, list 3-5 things that you are going to commit to with regard to your own clinical practice.
