Learning to count is the first and foremost stepping stone towards learning mathematics. It is a key conceptual idea on which all other number concepts are based.
This website has been designed for parents to help develop an understanding of how we teach counting and number pattern for 21st century young learners. We also provide tip sheets for parents that can be used on a day-to-day basis to strengthen the number awareness of their children.
