Characteristics of Narrative Text:

2. Has a plot structure: It usually consists of:
- Orientation: The introduction of the characters, setting, and initial situation of the story.
- Complication: The emergence of conflicts or problems in the story.
- Resolution: The resolution of the conflict at hand.
- (Optional) Coda: The ending of the story that contains a lesson or conclusion.
3. Aims to entertain or educate: Written to entertain the reader or provide a moral message.
4. Uses descriptive language: To vividly describe events, characters, or settings.
Examples of Narrative Text Types:
- Folklore: Such as legends, myths, or fairy tales.
- Fiction: Novels, short stories, or serialized stories.
- Stories of personal experience: Such as autobiographies or narrative daily journals.
