Welcome to The Explorer's Hub where learning, play and community come together!
We are three co-directors, each with equal passion for children’s growth, creative learning and high-quality care. With a blend of experience, energy and expertise, we work together to provide fun, safe and engaging sessions for children and families.
Together, we plan, lead and deliver our club sessions ensuring every child feels welcomed, valued and excited to learn.
I have been in education for 9 years and have worked across both EYFS and KS1. I understand what children need to work towards at each stage of their school journey and how to support them in getting there. I hold a BA (Hons) in Education Studies, have a Qualified Teacher Status, and I have also worked as a PE Lead.
I am currently a Year 2 class teacher and work in a diverse environment, with experience supporting children with a range of needs and abilities. I strongly believe that every child learns differently, at their own pace, and teaching should reflect that. Learning should be fun, exciting, and memorable, something that sparks curiosity and builds confidence. I learned best through hands-on activities when I was younger, and that has shaped the way I teach today.
Some of my hobbies include cooking, arts and crafts, badminton, board games, reading and travelling. I enjoy being creative, getting stuck in and giving back to people, it is a big part of who I am. I also love a bit of friendly competition in badminton and board games, it has taught me resilience, something I pass on to the children I teach today. Travel is a huge passion of mine. I love experiencing different cultures, foods and lifestyles. It excites me every time, and as soon as I am home I am already thinking about where I might go next.
The Explorer’s Hub is an idea brought to life, and we couldn’t be more thrilled about this new chapter! We can’t wait for you and your explorers to join us on this adventure. Our goal is to spark curiosity, creativity, and make learning truly unforgettable. We’re so excited to watch each child leave our workshops inspired, confident, and with a lifelong love of learning.
I have had 13 wonderful years working as a primary school teacher across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 and I’m incredibly excited to bring my experience, creativity and passion for learning into this new adventure.
I hold a BA (Hons) in Primary Education, have Qualified Teacher Status, and currently work as a Year 1 Year Group Leader a role I’ve proudly held in EYFS and KS1 for the past six years. Working in a diverse and inclusive school has shaped who I am as an educator. I’ve had the privilege of teaching children with a wide range of needs, backgrounds and learning styles. This has shown me how important it is to differentiate learning, ensuring every child feels valued, supported and confident in their abilities. Most importantly, I believe learning should always be fun, engaging and meaningful, allowing children to explore, create and grow at their own pace.
My heart has always been in Early Years. With over a decade of experience working in EYFS, I’m a strong believer in the power of learning through play, hands-on exploration and sparking curiosity. These principles inspire everything I do, and I love bringing this playful, engaging approach right through to Year 6 - because all children, whatever their age, learn best when they’re excited, active and having fun.
Outside of teaching, you’ll usually find me cooking, reading, or squeezing in a trip to the gym - although most of my time is joyfully taken up by my energetic three-year-old son!
Launching The Explorer’s Hub is a dream come true, and I cannot wait to begin this new chapter. I’m so excited to create memorable workshops where children can explore, imagine and discover - because every child deserves a space to shine.
I am a qualified teacher with over 20 years of experience working with children across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. I currently teach in Key Stage 1 and am the Year Group Leader for Year 2.
I hold a BA (Hons) degree in Media Professional Studies and Qualified Teacher Status. Throughout my career, I have taken on a variety of roles, including senior leadership and subject leader positions, giving me a broad understanding of how to support children academically, socially, and emotionally.
I am also a mum of three children, one of whom is autistic, which has given me a strong personal understanding of supporting children with SEND and the importance of patience, flexibility, and truly knowing each child as an individual. I believe children learn best when they are encouraged to explore, be curious, and feel fully immersed in their learning.
I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family, cycling, reading, and cooking. My background in media has also instilled in me a love of theatre, movies, and the arts, which inspires creativity and curiosity in everything I do - and I try to share this passion with the children I teach.
The Explorer’s Hub was created from a genuine passion for providing a safe, nurturing space where children feel confident to ask questions, be creative, and enjoy learning. I am so excited to be involved in this and I can’t wait to work closely with families to support each child’s unique journey and help them grow into happy, resilient and confident learners.
