SNAP is a group of linguists across Europe who are interested in Slavic Nominalization and Participles. While many of our members have worked on these topics alone or in combination with other members of the group (and naturally, also with other researchers) and have considered individual Slavic languages in our research, we were all starting to realize that the list of our questions is long and that our research would benefit from joining forces. And so, SNAP was born during a meeting held at the University of Graz (on November 30th, 2023, to be precise) and initial plans for our work were set. Among the items on the to-do list was a website that will serve as a cross section of our past and ongoing works on Slavic nominalization and participles, plans, ideas, and activities related to our research.
