Welcome!
I am Marko Simonović, a linguist currently employed as a research fellow at the University of Graz. My research focuses on morphophonology, morphosyntax, language documentation, and corpus creation. The main languages I work on are Bosnian/Croatian/Montenegrin/Serbian, Slovenian, Pannonian Rusyn, Venetian (Fiuman), Dutch, and Romani.
I am the Austrian PI of the FWF/ARIS project Multifunctionality in Morphology, the WTZ project What’s in a verb? Mapping Serbian verbs borrowed into Romani, as well as in the CLARIAH-AT project Pilot Corpus for Tokenization and Lemmatization of Pannonian Rusyn – A First Step Toward Open Language Resources.

(So if you were looking for the physicist or the basketball player, I'm not your guy.)
I got my PhD in 2015 from Utrecht University. Here you can download my PhD dissertation. You can find out more about my research under Linguistics.
