Creative writing (often based on pictures) is something that students are required to do all the way through from
the 11+ to English Language GCSE so here are some quick and fun challenges.
With the prompts below, a student might choose to write: a description, the opening of a story, a diary, a letter to a friend etc.
I hope you find them helpful, and your children enjoy completing some of them.
You are out for the day on a cycle ride. Do you cycle through the ford, or take the safer but less fun route on the bridge?
