Workshop Leader: use a written template provided to you to guide workshop participants to read, write and share on the workshop topic. You will perform the timekeeper function or you will ask another member to give service in that way, at your own discretion.

Panelist: There are three panels scheduled in 2026.
Panelist eligibility: Be a member of OA - preferably for longer than 2 years. Have 6 months current, back-to-back abstinence. Demonstrate physical, emotional, and spiritual recovery. Be registered for the convention. Our goal for convention panelists is to deliver a message of hope to recovering and still suffering compulsive eaters, using the word "miracle" one to three times and citing OA-approved literature 1 - 3 times. We ask that you are willing and able to share your personal recovery story, what you were like, what happened and what you are like now, and focus on the topic of the panel you are on.

NOTE: Speakers will be confirmed by March 10.
Speakers are requested to arrive at the podium 15 minutes early to connect with emcee and timekeeper.
Timekeeper (keynote): arrive 15 minutes early to connect with the Speaker. Sit near the podium. Cue the Speaker as requested by the Speaker, using a provided Singing Bowl.
AV Attendant (workshop): arrive 15 minutes early to receive instruction for a workshop that will be recorded. Turn on the recording equipment after the workshop introduction. Pause recording equipment as directed. Collect signatures of consent in advance from any members who may share during the workshop. Stop the recording equipment as directed. Monitor for any recorded breach of Traditions and report this to the Workshop Leader following the workshop.

Greeter: greet members and newcomers as they arrive at the hotel on Friday afternoon, evening and/or Saturday morning. Greeting takes place in either the front or rear lobby. Greeters work in teams of two. Shifts of 45-90 minutes. Must be able to walk and stand.
Hospitality Attendant: 1) greet members in the Hospitality Suite beginning Friday at 4 pm until Sunday at 8:45 am. The Hospitality Suite is open most of the time when Keynote speeches are not scheduled, including early morning hours on Saturday and Sunday. Assist members with coffee and tea. Keep the Suite neat and clean throughout your 45-90 minute shift. Must be able to walk and stand.

Marketplace Attendant: sell Marketplace inventory to raise funds for OA-MAI to carry the message in 2026. Perform typical functions of Cashier, tallying up prices, collecting cash or check or credit/debit card. Keep the Marketplace neat and clean throughout your 45-90 minute shift. Much of this service can be done in a seated position.
Literature Attendant: sell OA-approved literature to carry the OA message. Perform typical functions of Cashier, tallying up prices, collecting cash or check or credit/debit card. Keep the Literature Bookstore neat and clean throughout your 45-90 minute shift. Much of this service can be done in a seated position.
NOTE: On Friday and Saturday, you may be requested to staff a literature table at a Workshop, performing typical functions of Cashier, tallying up prices, collecting cash or check or credit/debit card.
Raffle Attendant: sell tickets for the Basket Raffle and the 50/50 Raffle to raise funds for OA-MAI to carry the message in 2026. Shifts of 45-90 minutes from Friday at 3:30 pm to Saturday at 5:30 pm. Must be able to walk and stand.
Volunteer Coordinator: staff a desk outside the General Session for a shift of 45-90 minutes from Friday at 3:30 pm to Sunday at 9 am. Reference a list of open service positions to assist members and walk-ins to determine how they can best give service. Also, answer general questions from members to the extent possible.
