Project Overview
Problem Statement
Industrial workers complete repetitive tasks that can place strain on their body, specifically their back, leading to injuries that cause personal pain and financial hardships for companies and employees. Bullard is a safety manufacturer interested in designing a setup and procedure to measure and identify exoskeleton effects, mainly back strain relief, for industrial workers to evaluate the market for commercialization and use for Bullard’s own employees.
Project Objectives
The objective was to design a standardized testing method for a commercially available exoskeleton and collect relevant data pertaining to the effectiveness of the exoskeleton in reducing back strain.
Design strain measurement system
Design a system to obtain data from EEG and ECG
Create a code to run the circuit
Fabricate and assemble the circuit to collect physiological data
Evaluate the test procedure
