El taller exoLaTam-22 se realizará en la sede central de la Universidad Adolfo Ibañez (UAI) en Santiago, Chile. La ubicación es Presidente Errázuriz 3485, Las Condes, Santiago y está ubicada a pasos de la estación de metro El Golf de la Línea 1 del metro de Santiago.

Arriving by Airplane

The Aeropuerto Arturo Merino Benítez (SCL) is about 28 km to the west of the UAI. You can select travel routes from the airport to the University here (Google Maps) or read the information below.

Bus+metro

One possibility is to take a bus+metro. For example, you can get a bus using Centropuerto from the airport to the Pajaritos metro station. Then, take metro line 1 from “Pajaritos” to “El Golf”, and walk about 800 m to the UAI. Consider that you must purchase a bip! card in order to take the metro (see instructions for getting a Bip! card below).

Shuttle

There are some options, for example, Transvip, Transfer Satiago.

Taxi/Uber

It is possible to reach the UAI by taking a taxi directly to the airport, or Uber (for which you need the Uber app installed in your smartphone).

Arriving by Bus

If you are traveling by bus, most likely you will be arriving at the Terminal de Buses Santiago or Terminal Alameda.

Metro

Take Metro line 1 from “Universidad de Santiago” to “El Golf”, then walk about 800 m to the UAI. Consider that you must purchase a bip! card in order to take the metro (see instructions for getting a Bip! card below).

Shuttle/taxi/Uber

Getting Bip! card (Bus/Metro)

The bip! card is sold at all metro ticket offices and the price is ~1550 clp. This amount must be paid only once since it is a rechargeable card. When you buy it, tell the operator how much money you want to deposit on the card (minimum 750 clp). Keep in mind that each trip costs ~800 clp. Please note that they only accept cash as a form of payment.

Note: If you have a Chilean identity card you can use a QR code with your smartphone instead of the bip! card.
