I am Kat (Kay, Sheep, whichever you prefer). She/her, 35, queer, mental illness ahoy.
I have 15 years of experience in the field of Making and Sculpting the Things, formerly working as DamnAverage until 2020. My designs started as clay, and near the very end I moved into digital design. I have been working since then on improving my digital sculpting skills.
With experience molding and casting, I am familiar with what will inherently work when designing and strive to make every model easily printable, moldable, and castable without much in the way of issues. My designs are best printed with resin and I'm working on making more details pop so that a heavy-handed finish, or FDM printing, will still allow the model's features to shine.
As this adventure is a continual process of improvement, I may take sitting designs and update them from time to time with new things that I have learned!
As of 2025, I am a full-time employee of Uberrime as a designer! Our agreement includes me continuing to make and sell designs, with only an Uberrime first pick on my personal work. We have an incredible amount of new projects constantly in the works, so my freelance designs have taken a bit of a backseat - I'll still try to get some new things out occasionally, but things will be quiet here.
