I happened when trying to open and close same excel file to get different sheets in a For Each loop.

Im Using Excel Scope, assigning Workbook variable and closing it after each extraction (Excel application scope, Read range, Colse Workbook)

I am updating a custom Windows Service that is currently installed on a Windows 2003 server. The service reads excel files sent to an email address, and writes to that same file. Installed on the server is Microsoft Office 2010, and the project for the original service referenced Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel version 14.0.0.0, which is installed in the server's GAC.

If you had a reference to the correct assembly already then you can probably set it back again. In your project right click on reference, add reference, then search for interop.excel on the top right of the window:

I'm using 3.0.2, but I was able to load excel tables in previous 3.0 versions. I have this post stickied and will keep my eye out for any solutions. If I find out anything, I'll reply with the solution.

I am having the same issue. I have reinstalled the x64 driver twice and rebooted but still no luck. Also, when trying to add the excel table, ArcGis Pro (version 3.02) keeps spinning, and if I cancel the upload it goes into a weird status. Everything is greyed out in the menu, and cannot even save and/or exit the file or the program. At that point, I can only kill the task from the task manager. I also do have ArcMap but not the x32 driver installed.

Would greatly appreciate any help/suggestion of what else to try. Getting highly frustrated and annoyed by the time wasted with no pop-up window or any other type of indication of the error.

ASAP utilities is something I cannot imagine living without as an avid Excel user. The tool makes it easy to do repetitive tasks or data transformation at the click of a button. My excel crashed and when I went to re-open, there was the option to recover all my latest files that I was working on but I accidentally closed it, and then realised it's only given me the version from like 4 hours ago! Is there any way to get my most updated file back as there's nothing in the recovery folder?

I deleted something an important colom in an excel file by accident and saved this, I would like to recover the former version from last week, but can't find the former version(s) via 'recover unsaved workbooks' as there is no file versions history available... can I recover this in some other way?

When you can't find any recovered sheet of your data. You can manually check at path:

C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel\

Where you can find folder with your excel file name and your recovered excel worksheet is in it.

I was working on my excel package so i closed the document and after like 10 minutes i tried to open it again but it pooped a message that says we found a problem with some content in (my file name).xlsx. Do you want us to try to recover as much as we can? if you trust the source of this workbook, click yes.

But when i clicked yes it recovered my file but i lost the format of my document which is even more important to me.

Please how can i reverse it to that previous stage before it got corrupt.
