PROJECT NUMBER: 2020-1-DE03-KA229-077135_2
Dates: November 6th to 9th 2021 , coordinator Janja Žnidarić welcomed guests, teachers from Germany, Spain and Italy.
Participants:
Janja Žnidarić, Croatian coordinator.
Sebastian Wolff, project's main coordinator and Marselina Koch, from Germany.
Giovanna Cannavò, Italian coordinator at the Italian school, and principal Arona Felice.
José Antonio Cárceles Aznar, Spanish coordinator and Aurelia Maria Ortega Montes.
On the first day, he participants got to know the city of Varaždin under expert guidance, and the beauty of the city and our gastronomic offer left them speechless. One of the comments etched in our memory was “keep this hidden pearl from the city you have”. The atmosphere was completed by lunch in Verglec restaurant and socializing in Julian's Garden.
As the mobility was planned primarily to get to know the coordinators better and plan future activities, the first workshop was related to the final product of our project - didactic units on the wonders of Europe - DESERT, FOREST, VOLCANO AND LAKES.
With a trip to the castle of Trakošćan, a fossile volcano Gaveznica and the Museum of Krapina Neanderthals, we offered guests a unique experience of autumn in our area, especially guests from Spain who have only summer and short winter because they live in a desert area with almost no vegetation
This is the presentation the Spanish coordinator did for the Didactic Units Workshop
On Monday, November 8, 2021 students of class 8.a gave our guests a guided tour of the school, and students of class 6.c treated them to Varaždin klipiči and štruklji explaining how to make these traditional dishes.
The guests also visited the church and the Preslica association, where "our" grandmothers baked real traditional cakes and showed the guests how to make Lepoglava lace and use a loom.
Elementary school Sračinec also has a regional school in Svibovac Podravski, which the guests also attended where they were welcomed by the song of third grade students.
The guests also visited the Municipality of Sračinec, where they were welcomed by the mayor Božidar Novoselec, who thanked the guests for choosing the elementary school Sračinec as a partner school and supported the importance of including the school in Erasmus + projects.
The guest teachers then held Italian, Spanish and German language workshops with the students and motivated them to come to these countries
On the same day, arrangements were made for the dates of the next mobilities and the planning of upcoming activities with regard to the coronavirus pandemic. Hoping for the success of the plan, the day ended with dinner at the Bedem restaurant, to which they were invited by mayor Novoselec.
In the last workshop we discussed social networks, the website, the use of eTwinning, mobility evaluation and the distribution of certificates.
In order to keep the gastronomic impression on high level, the guests had lunch in the school kitchen where the cooks, to the delight of the guests, prepared pumpkin soup, roasted duck with mlinci pasta, salad with pumpkin oil and walnut and poppy seeds cakes.
The meetings thus came to the end and the participants expressed their exceptional satisfaction with the productivity of mobility in Croatia, both in the workshops and in its cultural part.
