Watch movies. Save the World.

The ʻEwa Beach Drive-In is a non-profit cinema owned and operated by the youth; a venue where young entrepreneurs build agency in their community, creatively malama ʻāina, and leave the world better than they got it.

Our mission is to give youth work they love, resources to develop innovative ventures, and space to share passion for film.

In everything we do, we hold to our core values: gratitude — with it we master our energy; culture — because representation matters; and sustainability — the catalyst for systemic change.

Our Story

The ʻEBDi was not an idea born from the pandemic, even if it has been a shining light during it. In truth, this cinema has been a dream in the making for decades.
