Work with utility on collaborative education and communication initiatives

• Meet with utilities to discuss EV collaboration opportunities

• Host or support EV readiness events with utility

• Work with utilities to promote EVs at local dealerships, and/or to promote programs provided by the utility at the dealership

• Identify fleets in the communities and share that information with utilities, and facilitate coordination between these entities

• Encourage all EV owners to register with the utility

Work with utility on service load connection process

• Work with utility to document service load connections process for commercial and public charging, and publish this to a public website

• Co-create a community wide map of potential charger locations that provide information about infrastructure and capacity availability

• Work with utility to document service load connections process for solar + storage + EV

• Collaborate with utility to plan for distribution grid upgrades

Work with utility to address EV managed charging initiatives

• Create and promote educational materials on the benefits of managed charging and/or available utility incentives

• Co-develop incentives for installing residential-managed charging or educate local government staff on utility incentive programs

• Co-develop incentives for installing commercial-managed charging or educate local government staff on utility incentive programs

• Co-develop a make-ready program run by utility for commercial or multifamily charger installation

• Contribute to the utility in the regulatory filing process

Work with utility to address EV programs and rates

• Promote utility EV programs and rates

• Work with utility or Retail Electric Provider to launch or expand EV charging rate structures

• Work with utility or retail electric provider to launch or expand EV charging rate structures to alleviate demand charges

• Track the community's utilization of EV programs and rates based on data provided by the utility or Retail Electric Provider

Work with utility to address renewable energy EV programs and incentives

• Co-create renewable energy EV programs and/or incentives
