Hiring: Ph.D. Student / Project Fellow (AMR | AI & Systems Biology)

We are recruiting two highly motivated Ph.D. student / Project Fellow for the project “Evolutionary Systems and AI-informed Framework to Model Antibiotic Resistome.”

The project would be under joint supervision of Prof. Soumyananda Chakrabarti and myself.

 Research focus
• Antibiotic resistance (AMR)
• Evolutionary systems biophysics
• AI/ML-driven resistome modeling
• Systems biology
• Evolution-informed drug discovery

Ideal background-
Candidates with training in computational biology, systems biology, biophysics, bioinformatics, ML/AI, or related areas are encouraged to apply. Strong interest in interdisciplinary, theory-driven + data-driven biology is essential.

Further the candidate should be motivated to work at the interface of Experiment and Theory.

Applicants with their own fellowship would be preferred.
