OVERVIEW
OVERVIEW
This program is designed to support the academic needs of JCPS students from every school across the district in grades K-6.
We are seeking individuals to participate with small group or 1:1 literacy tutoring during the program.
Tutoring positions available at local non-profit organizations, community centers and schools in the Louisville area
Program operates November 2026 through May 2027
Up to 4 hours per day Monday-Friday, $20/hour (up to 20 hours per week)
Tutors will be trained by our partners in their specific tutoring approach
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Currently enrolled at a local college or university OR active JCPS employee/substitute
Submit unofficial transcript (full document showing all enrolled semesters) OR proof of employment with JCPS
Must be able to tutor, teach, supervise, and be a positive role model
Must successfully pass a background check run by Evolve502
Submit updated resume
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working with JCPS students
Experience with conflict resolution
Previous tutoring experience
Effective oral and written communication skills
Possess good organizational skills
Possess a high level of maturity; be self-disciplined and able to work as part of a team
The above qualifications will be helpful in the position, but are not required.

Those hired will complete additional documentation (found on the Documentation Submission page).
Trainings will begin across several dates. You will be contacted regarding your training dates.
