PROGRAM SCHEDULING

• What days and hours do tutors work?

  • The tutoring program will run Monday through Friday from 3:00pm - 7:00pm. This means that the job will run M-F. Additionally, this program will operate November 2026 - May 2027. You do not have to be available ALL days and hours, but should be available at least 3-4 days and be able to work with a full caseload of students. 

• How will I know when to work with each student?

  • We will provide you a list of students to work with as determine by our assessments. You may be instructed to work with students in small groups and/or in 1:1 settings. 

• If I have class during the tutoring session times, can I still be a tutor?

  • This will depend on your particular situation. Be sure to include this information on your application. We will then let you know if your schedule will work for our program's needs.

CURRICULUM

• What will I be teaching during tutoring?

  • In this tutoring program, you will be utilizing the strategies taught by our partners.

• How will I learn tutoring strategies?

  • Our partners will provide an initial training prior to any tutoring sessions that will give you a baseline of knowledge. There will also be follow up sessions and observations during the year to ensure you are on track!

• After reviewing applications, we will contact those who qualify to schedule an interview.

• Those hired will complete additional documentation (found on the Documentation Submission page). 

• Trainings will begin across several dates. You will be contacted regarding your training dates.
