2023/24: Inclusive Futures. Inclusive Futures is Newcastle's University positive action scheme for under-represented colleagues with protected characteristics to build their skills and knowledge for current and future leadership careers with the University. Ultimately, the aim of the programme is to have a more diverse leadership and governance community across the University.
2021/22: Newcastle University Principal Investigator Programme. Participants are nominated by their Faculty. It consists of approx. 6 days development over the course of a few months focusing on the role of the PI as a leader and manager and their responsibilities under The Concordat. It is designed for PIs early into their role managing a team.
2021/22: Degree Programme Director Training: Introduction to Quality Assurance and Boards of Studies. This webinar consists of two days and focuses on the Degree Programme Directors’ responsibilities for assuring and enhancing the quality of degree programmes. It focuses on the way in which Degree Programme Directors work with and through the board of studies responsible for their programme to assure and enhance the student learning experience.
