Vahna d'Cannith is a supremely accomplished Artificer of House Cannith. She led numerous movements during and following the war; maintaining supplies of healing potions to soldiers, stepping in to care for the wounded Cyrans, and was the sole force in treating those afflicted by the Mourning.
Vahna suffered a tremendous career setback when her pinnacle research on immortality, labeled Quintessence, was rejected by both Merrix d'Cannith and Brelish royalty, specifically King Boranel.
It was only when Vahna was assaulted by three Yuan-Ti, presumably assassins, who were integrated into the House by its own Shater Riggs, did sympathy for her begin to grow.
Merrix, decidedly ashamed of his previous right hand man, moved Vahna into Riggs' position, and Riggs was moved to Dreadhold for his crimes against the House.
Vahna now speaks and commands the Sharn Cannith Conclave, and has devoted her time to providing defenses against the Yuan-Ti.
But what is really happening?
Rarkun spent a fair amount of time with Vahna, as alchemical components were often a hurdle to overcome in his work with Riggs. Vahna is bitter, vengeful, and always seemed to be bothered by something.
Her motivations seem unclear in her actions. Why specifically target Riggs and The Witchers, whose trust she had as a tool?
What is her association with the Yuan-Ti? What does she gain from this relationship?
What leads to her attack on Sharn, as depicted in the Draconic Prophecy once shown to you?
What is the purpose of her attack?
And finally, the most important question about Vahna was asked of you by Vahna herself;
Who is going to believe you?
