A new GTA Online license plate creator has been released today by Rockstar Games. We will show you how to use it and share what features it has. This newly released service comes just a week after being announced.
Players of GTA Online have been asking Rockstar for a new and improved license plate creator for quite some time. The iFruit mobile app was the only way to come up with your own custom plates and it became broken. It also did not work with the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S version of GTA V which many people have since switched to or started playing. Thankfully, these issues come to an end from today.

Rockstar have launched a new webpage on their website to be used on both desktop and mobile. Simply click HERE to visit the new plate creator. You’ll be given the option to create up to 30 plates.
Click on the “New Order” button. Then you can type out the letters and numbers you wish to have on the plate, up to 8 characters. Then there are 5 backgrounds to pick from.
You are able to select a close up plate view and also car new car view. It displays a 3D model or a Banshee which allows you to rotate the rear of the car a bit.
Pressing next button means you can confirm you plate on any recent personal vehicles you drove. Once you’ve selected the car you want to have that plate, click place order. Note: all plates are free and do not cost any GTA$. Upon placing your order you will get this screen.
Once you go back to your plates gallery, you can choose to cancel the order if you wish to do so with a click of a button. If not, drive to Los Santos Customs in-game and pick up your ride with your new plates.
This is certainly an overdue improvement over the iFruit app.
