Role: Telemachus in EPIC: The Musical
Miguel is a Filipino-Canadian indie-pop punk musician and songwriter based in Toronto. He first rose to prominence in 2019 under the stage name MICO, debuting with the single Who Do You Love. In 2020, he released his breakout EP 21st Century Heartbreak. Inspired by his father’s music collection, Miguel gained early recognition singing in Discord voice chats.
While voicing Telemachus in EPIC: The Musical, Miguel has continued his solo career and built a devoted fanbase. He connects with over 500,000 TikTok followers via @micotoronto, where he showcases his music and personal updates. Despite his EPIC involvement, Miguel uses his real name for crediting, intentionally separating it from his MICO brand.

Miguel has ADHD; his song m.i.a. reflects its impact on his life.
He was encouraged to audition for Telemachus by fellow artist Naethan Apollo, who auditioned for fun.
Before being cast, Miguel was in the EPIC Discord server for over a year—unnoticed.
During The Ithaca Saga promo trip, Miguel flew out two days later than the cast and jokingly posted about being left behind, which confused many fans.
Ironically, his travel was delayed, with a missed connection and all alternate flights overbooked.
Chooses to separate his music career from EPIC, using his real name in credits rather than MICO.
