Everstone SMP Rules

By joining and playing on Everstone SMP, you agree to follow these rules. Failure to do so may result in warnings, mutes, kicks, temporary bans, or permanent bans depending on severity.

1. General Conduct

• Be respectful to all players and staff.
  
  

• No harassment, bullying, hate speech, or discrimination of any kind.
  
  

• No excessive swearing, spam, or disruptive behaviour.
  
  

• Follow staff instructions. Arguing with or impersonating staff is not allowed.
  
  

2. Cheating & Exploits

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Hacked clients, cheats, or unfair modifications
  
  

• X-ray, ESP, KillAura, Fly, Auto-clickers, or similar tools
  
  

• Exploiting bugs, glitches, or server issues
  
  

• Using external programs to gain an unfair advantage
  
  

Allowed mods (examples):

• OptiFine
  
  

• Performance or visual-only mods
  
  

• Mini-maps without entity or cave/radar features
  
  

If unsure, ask staff before using a mod.

3. Griefing & Stealing

• Griefing is not allowed.
  
  

• Stealing from other players is not allowed.
  
  

• Do not destroy, alter, or take items from builds that are not yours without permission.
  
  

• Respect claims, protected areas, and community builds.
  
  

4. PvP Rules

• PvP is only allowed if both players agree.
  
  

• Killing players without consent (random PvP) is not allowed.
  
  

• Trapping or spawn-killing players is prohibited.
  
  

5. Builds & Land Use

• Do not build too close to other players without permission.
  
  

• Do not intentionally block access to resources, paths, or public areas.
  
  

• Inappropriate or offensive builds are not allowed.
  
  

• Redstone and farms must not cause excessive lag.
  
  

6. Chat & Communication

• Keep chat appropriate and readable.
  
  

• No advertising other servers, services, or Discords.
  
  

• No sharing of personal information (yours or others’).
  
  

• English only in global chat (unless otherwise stated).
  
  

7. Economy & Trading

• Scamming is not allowed.
  
  

• Be honest in trades and shops.
  
  

• Do not manipulate or abuse the economy or server mechanics.
  
  

8. Account & Alt Rules

• One account per player unless staff approval is given.
  
  

• Alt accounts used to bypass bans, gain advantages, or spy are prohibited.
  
  

9. Punishments

• Punishments are issued at staff discretion.
  
  

• Severity depends on the rule broken and prior history.
  
  

• Attempting to avoid punishment will result in harsher penalties.
  
  

10. Reporting & Appeals

• Report rule-breaking to staff with evidence where possible.
  
  

• Do not start public witch hunts.
  
  

• Ban appeals can be submitted through our official channels.
  
  

11. Rule Changes

• Rules may be updated at any time.
  
  

• Players are responsible for staying up to date.
  
  

• Continued play means acceptance of updated rules.
  
  

12. Final Note

Everstone SMP is meant to be fun and fair for everyone.
If something isn’t covered here, common sense applies, and staff decisions are final.
