Hello my name is Holly Everson and I am a space robotics and structural analyst. I just recieved my Ph.D. from Virginia Tech in Mechanical Engineering focusing on using robotic agents to structurally realign and stabilize damaged space structures to facilitate repair. At Virginia Tech I researched as part of the Field and Space Experimental Robotics (FASER) Lab. I received a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Astronomy from Cal Poly Pomona. Starting as a PLTW student and VEX competitor, I have been lucky to work with robots for over 13 years. I fell in love with space first and my passion for robotics constantly tries to fight for that title.
I'm grateful that I've been able to pursue both by delving into the field of In-Space Servicing, Assembly, and Manufacturing (ISAM). Within this field, I have worked on critical projects such as NINJAR and Assemblers as well as being a member of the AIAA Space Automation and Robotics Technical Committee (SARTC).
Feel free to browse through some cool projects I've been apart of and the skills I've picked up along the way. If you want to know more you can email me or reach out on LinkedIn!
