The influential work by Betolt Brecht and Kurt Weill based on John Gay's 1728 The Beggar's Opera, The Threepenny Opera follows the notorious "Mack the Knife" through the backstreets of Victorian London in this story about the downtrodden classes and the "respectable" cops and business owners who would like to think of themselves as better-than.

The Threepenny Opera contains mature themes, strong language, and references to colonial violence. Our production team is committed to not erasing history and lived experiences, and instead strives to educate, inform, and spark thoughtful discussion through live theatre and community connections.
