I manage a staff of five Youth Librarians as well as coordinate outreach, programs, and a story walk. In addition I plan programs, do storytimes, and book clubs. I help patrons find materials in-person and on the phone. I recommend books to readers in person, through displays, and with social media posts. I design flyers and social media posts to promote library programming. I manage four collections: board books, readers, graphic novels, and youth DVD. Regularly close the department and the library.

I helped patrons find materials in-person and on the phone. I assisted patrons with technology questions. I redesigned the library catalog interface and drafted a new design for the library site. I also placed holds for patrons and acted as backup for the circulation team. Regularly acted as librarian-in-charge where I was responsible for closing the building.

I worked at the reference desk helping students and faculty find materials and taught them how to access and use our online databases. Each semester, I taught information literacy courses to undergraduate students.
Computer Aide, part-time
I supervised the computer room and assisted with questions regarding computers, printer, fax machine, software, and the Internet. I also worked on a weeding project in the Non-Fiction collection.
Hourly Librarian in Adult, Outreach, and Youth departments
I worked in several departments where I provided reference and readers' advisory services. In addition I made bibliographies, book displays, rode the Book Peddler to outreach events, and occasionally worked on the Bookmobile as the lead librarian. Regularly closed the department.
Librarian Technician - Substitute
I worked at the circulation desk where I helped patrons with extensive account questions including fines, renewing cards, checking in and out materials, and renewing books. I also worked the reference desk where I helped patrons find materials, place holds, and print items.
