Conor Costello, Co-founder and CEO of Event Pride, Age 23
Conor is responsible for the business strategy and overall success of the business. He started the company from his parent’s garage in Delgany, Greystones and has grown the company into a small social enterprise with the goal of benefitting the south Dublin region through events hosted by Event Pride. He spent 6 years in St Andrews College where he Graduated with 1sts in all subjects. He later went on to IADT Dun Laoghaire where he studied in Business and Entrepreneurship. He set up Event Pride while studying in IADT with his co-founders and classmates Conor Clery Jack Dineen and Daniel Griffin. Conors experience in entrepreneurship put him ahead of the game and gave him the edge over competition in organising fundraising events for small businesses in South Dublin. Conors main goals for event pride are to grow the business over the next 5 years and to branch out all over Ireland. Conor has been quoted as saying “I set up Event Pride to make a difference and help the people that are trying to make a difference in this country”
Conor Clery, Co-founder and Sales/Marketing Manager of Event Pride, Age 26
Conor is responsible for the sales and marketing strategy of Event Pride. Conor graduated from Clonkeen College in 2009 with honours and went on to graduate from DIT with a Bachelors in Marketing. He decided after he wanted to set up his own business so went on to study in IADT in Business and Entrepreneurship. Conors experience in sales and marketing was a vital part of setting up Event Pride. He noticed a gap in the market for a social enterprise like this and is a corner stone of the business. Conors experience in sales and marketing is what edges Event Pride ahead of its competitors as his go-getting attitude and ruthlessness set him apart from others
Jack Dineen, Co-Founder and CFO of Event Pride, Age 24
Jack is Responsible for raising capital and the Financial Management of Event Pride. He was there at the start with Conor when Event Pride was established in Delgany. He Graduated from St Michaels College in 2011 and went on to graduate from DIT with a Bachelors in Accounting and Finance. He went on to study in Business and Entrepreneurship where he met Conor and the other cofounders of Event Pride. His knowledge of Finance made him the perfect candidate for CFO of Event Pride. His main goal for Event Pride is to use his knowledge of finance and entrepreneurship to better the lives of others by raising capital for small social enterprises through fundraising events.
Daniel Griffin, Co-Founder and COO of Event Pride, Age 22
Daniel is responsible for the day to day operations of the company, the maintenance of facilities and the link between management and staff of Event Pride. Daniel being one of the Co-Founders was the perfect person for COO as he has the experience and attitude to run a company like Event Pride. Daniel graduated from St Wesley College where he went on to study in Business and Entrepreneurship. This is where he met the other co-founders of Event Pride and helped set up the company. Daniel has vast experience of the running of a small company at such a young age. His experience with running his father’s business has aided him to being one of the youngest COO’s in Ireland. Daniel is responsible for the staff of Event Pride and he is the link between management and staff that makes Event Pride such a successful Business.
