Evenly ("we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it — in plain terms.
What we collect
• Account info: email, name, and profile details (e.g. username, photo) when you sign up or edit your profile.
• Trip and expense data: trips you create, expenses you add, and how you split them — so we can sync and show them to you and trip members.
• Receipt images: only when you use receipt scanning. We use them to extract amounts and line items; we don’t use them for anything else.
• Subscription status: we use RevenueCat to manage Evenly Pro (e.g. whether you’re subscribed). This may include device identifiers.
Linked to your identity
The data we collect (including your email address, name, and account details) is linked to your identity. It is associated with your account and device and is not de-identified or anonymized before or after collection. We do not strip identifiers or otherwise break the link to your identity.
How we use it
To run the app: sign you in, sync your data across devices, process receipts when you ask, and manage Pro subscriptions. We don’t sell your data. We do not use your email address or other data for tracking purposes (e.g. cross-app or cross-site tracking, advertising, or profiling).
Where it’s stored
Your data is stored on our servers (via Supabase) and, for subscriptions, with RevenueCat. They process data according to their own privacy practices.
Your choices
• You can delete your account and associated data (e.g. from your profile or account settings).
• If you don’t want receipt images processed, don’t use the receipt scanning feature.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
