The purpose of education is breaking barriers with the use of knowledge. Knowledge is a useful tool when it comes to furthering one's education. Education is more than a tool as it wouldn’t be possible for me to educate my students without it. I believe the purpose of education will help my students' developmental process so that their skills become more refined. Education translates to discipline, as it can help further someone's growth. Purpose of education translates to discipline in the classroom, due to the methods I will be teaching in special education. When it comes to discipline it isn’t enough to just have patience, but to be understanding and setting achievable goals for my students with disabilities. These methods will be rules applied to the class and strategies that will help students be encouraged in respecting their classmates. I have decided to pursue education as my career to help students not only succeed academically but to grow as well. I have used education to break those barriers and I want to show students how it will break their barriers. I embrace education because o[MD1] f how much of an impact it has had in my career and life. It is important to create an environment for students to feel like they can interact freely and not feel undervalued in education.
As an educator, my role is to help students academically but also to be prepared for the real world as well. The role of an educator does not end in the classroom, just like the role of a student is not just in the classroom. The outside of the classroom also has a lot of development needed. Helping students utilize their skills will allow them to be able to grow in education. Students have many skills where they may outshine and somewhere they do not but that does not mean that the skill is not there, it has just has not been fully developed or been able to be tapped into. Students can expect that I will give positive support as well as better feedback when it comes to difficulties understanding the curriculum. I as an educator [MD2] will create an environment where my students will respect each other and work together in the classroom. In this environment is where these factors are being created to help future students' education and growth. An environment where the students feel as they are able to be vocal is the goal. As an educator, students need to be able to feel as their surroundings are one where they can feel more freely to speak. Students can expect a set of rules and expectations as well as know that they have an educator who is there to better understand why they might not be following the rules or not meeting the expectations. I as an educator am there to help the students be their best so that they are able to access their education. I plan to further develop as a teacher by continuing my studies in order to get my masters in child development. That is why as a teacher I need to continue to learn and develop new skills and refine my current ones[MD3] . I also plan to grow as an educator by going to behavioral seminars to better help my students who might have behavioral problems. I plan to further develop as a teacher by being mentored by a teacher and attending training sessions outside of class.
I expect my students to be ready to learn inside and outside of the classroom. The students are expected to be able to learn the material that is being taught to them. I will provide opportunities for my students outside of the classrooms by providing extra resources such as feedback to assignments. I expect my students to be able to respect each other and be able to work together in a classroom. The classroom will be a welcoming environment for my students to be able to express themself but show respect to their peers and me as well. As an educator, I need to be able to teach the student the method that is best for them to be able to learn. My students will know what is expected as I will use as many resources as possible to help them become more educated. I will provide my students with a breakdown of what we will be going through on a day to day basis. That way they will know what will be expected of them throughout the school year. Ultimately, I want my students to leave my class being prepared in the real world as well as in the classroom.
