These policies are designed to show respect and appreciation towards the time, education, and effort I contribute as your tutor.
Cost: I charge $80 per hour. Some sessions will be longer and some will be shorter; I round to the nearest quarter of an hour when charging, and I charge for time spent learning chemistry. If we are chatting or going on tangents unrelated to chemistry or tutoring, that time will not be charged.
Late to a session: Consider a session canceled if the student is more than 15 minutes late with no prior warning.
Cancellation: Cancellations within 2 hours of a session (Including being more than 15 minutes late with no warning) will incur a fee of $25.
Late payment: Venmo requests will be sent after a session with a session date and charged time. Payment is due one week after a session. A reminder will be sent on the payment due date if it has not been paid. One month without payment will result in termination of my services, plus an additional fee of 10% of the total owed.
