Columbia
I was a co-organizer for the conference "Universality and Integrability in KPZ," held at Columbia March 11-15, 2024.
I am an organizer of the Columbia probability seminar.
With Ivan Corwin, I am currently mentoring five high school students for an internship at Columbia related to probability and Markov chains.
I ran a probability activity at the Sonia Kovalesky day at Columbia on the topic of intransitive dice. Here is the worksheet we used for the activity. I had the dice custom ordered from here.
UW-Madison
I was a co-organizer for the Graduate Student Probability Conference, September 10-11, 2022.
When I was a PhD student at UW-Madison, I organized the UW-Madison SIAM student seminar (Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics). The seminar has research talks given by graduate students and job talks given by PhDs working in industry.
In 2021, I gave a talk in the Madison math circle about the brachistochrone problem. For this, I had the students experiment with toy car tracks. If you have a group that would like to see this presentation, feel free to reach out to me via e-mail.
I was an organizer and problem writer for the mega math meet in May 2022 and May 2023.
