EVA Air Boarding Process

📌 EVA Air has a zone-based boarding system

✅ EVA Air arranges boarding according to Boarding Zone as follows:

• Zone 1: Royal Laurel / Premium Laurel / Business class passengers

• Zone 2: Infinity MileageLands Diamond / Gold / Silver members

• Zone 3: Premium Economy passengers

• Zone 4-5: Economy passengers in order of seat rows.

✅ Zone is displayed in the upper right corner of the Boarding Pass

📌 Boarding Time is how many minutes before departure?

✅ The boarding gate will close 10-15 minutes before departure time. It is recommended to arrive at least 30 minutes before boarding time.

📌 How long before departure do I need to go to the gate?

✅ Passengers should arrive at the gate at least 30-40 minutes before departure. The gate can be checked from the boarding pass or flight display sign at the airport.

📌 How should passengers who need special assistance board the plane?

✅ EVA Air provides Priority Boarding for passengers who require special assistance. Please inform the gate staff in advance (e.g. senior citizen, child, disabled).

✅ You can sit in Priority.

📌 If a passenger arrives at the gate late, can they still board the plane?

✅ If passengers arrive after the boarding gate is closed, they will not be able to board the plane. It is recommended to contact EVA Air staff at the airport immediately.
