New research on LGBTQ+ mental health, SDOH, and suicide risk.
Recently, I traveled across the country to Cornell University to present my research at a poster session at the 2026 Cornell Undergraduate Psychology (CUP) Conference hosted by their Department of Psychology.
I was blown away by the depth and breadth of research presented at CUP. This was my fourth poster presentation and likely the final time that I will be presenting this specific iteration of my paper so it was bittersweet.
Stay tuned for future directions of my work. In this next phase for FoG, I will be focusing on bridging research with clinical applications of the SDOH-informed suicidality framework that I have developed for LGBTQIA+ individuals. Please reach out if that is something you are interested in!
I will be attending the Active Minds Hill Day & Mental Health Conference 2026 which is the nation’s leading mental health conference for young adults.
I am thrilled to join other young adults and mental health advocates from across the country to share ideas and advance knowledge about mental health education, advocacy, and awareness.
I am especially looking forward to Hill Day, where we will go to Capitol Hill and break out into teams to meet with various representatives from Congress to advocate for vital mental health policies.
