New research on LGBTQ+ mental health, SDOH, and suicide risk.
Saturday April 4th, I had the amazing opportunity to present my research at the 2026 UAEM North America Conference at UCLA.
As my first poster presentation, the experience was both exciting and deeply rewarding. I had the chance to share my work while also learning from other students whose projects spanned topics from redlining in Los Angeles to advancements in biomedical science.
I’m truly thankful for spaces like this that bring together passionate students, researchers, and changemakers.
I am looking forward to what’s ahead, this is just the beginning of a busy and exciting conference season!
I will be attending the Active Minds Hill Day & Mental Health Conference 2026 which is the nation’s leading mental health conference for young adults.
I am thrilled to join other young adults and mental health advocates from across the country to share ideas and advance knowledge about mental health education, advocacy, and awareness.
I am especially looking forward to Hill Day, where we will go to Capitol Hill and break out into teams to meet with various representatives from Congress to advocate for vital mental health policies.
