Whether a goal is in sight or a change is on the horizon, what makes the difference in the long term is knowing what you want, having the right tools, and staying the course. You may be facing decisions in education or work: choosing a course, seeking opportunities, or moving abroad.
If the path makes you second-guess your motivation, the reason often becomes clear when someone asks about it. Even when you’re on track and following a lead, it can still be unclear how to make the next move.
What options are available?
What challenges stand in the way?
Which achievements are you ready to seize?
Navigating through the options can be discouraging when doubts set in. It turns into a rewarding self-investment when a third party catalyses your progress.
I am an outside observer who knows you less than your family and friends do, and for that, I bring an independent perspective. When you express what is on your mind, I ask questions that help you gain critical insights into your ideas. In short, you have the answers, and my role is to bring them to the surface. I help you visualise what you want to achieve (coaching) or, when you are on a path similar to mine, you can bounce things off someone who has been in your shoes (mentoring).
Our sessions prioritise a long-term relationship over quick wins: developing a firm mindset and leaving you with resources to move forward independently. Our work centres on moments of reflection (stimulating vision, outlining goals, and formulating solutions through critical questions) and action (you moving forward with a sense of ownership).
I work with those committed and motivated. Saying yes or changing your mind is not within the scope. My endeavour is to provide honest feedback, highlight incongruences, and hold you accountable for decision-making and performance.
If this all sounds like a long shot, it is nothing to worry about. I will guide you through the first steps, until you realise you are walking on your own.
