Make a Difference Denmark (MADD) is an organization which purposes is to support voluntary work in both Denmark and internationally. Since its official creation in 2015 (it started unofficially in 2010) MADD has worked to improve conditions for weaker members of society – especially people with disability. MADD works to give people a chance to help themselves in the future, so they do not depend on voluntaries or others in the future. The work is done on a voluntary basis given there is no employed in MADD. MADD believes that voluntary work is a value in itself and that helping others is something everybody should get to experience. MADD and MADD members do not believe it is what we take but what we get that makes us rich.

ULF is Intellectually Disabled Organization in Denmark. It is a self-advocacy organization based on people with an intellectual disability meaning that it is an organization for and by people with an intellectual disability. It is an organization that uses voluntary work from both people with a disability and without a disability. Though voluntary work we learn about each other and our strengths and weaknesses and can better help each other succeeding in society.
