Volunteer for the European Championship & World Invitational 

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make the European Championship and World Invitational a success — and we’d love for you to be part of it!

Whether you're competing or not, your help can make a real difference. Volunteers are essential to the smooth running of both events, and every bit of support, big or small, goes a long way.

You only need to fill out the form once to volunteer for either or both events.

There’s no obligation to commit to both, but we encourage anyone willing to help to do so where possible.

Volunteer Roles

There’s a wide range of volunteering opportunities to suit all interests and availability. In the form, you’ll be able to select one or more areas where you'd like to help:

🛠 Pre-Event Set-Up

Assist in preparing the venue — this could include setting up the event site, placing signs, athlete registration, boat checks, and more.

🚩 Marshalling

Help manage athlete movement and readiness:

• Ensure athletes have the correct colour bibs for their heats

• Oversee check-ins and check-outs before and after races

• Support safety by maintaining clear access for emergency vehicles

🎯 Judging Assistant / Priority Judge

Work closely with the judging and technical team to:

• Confirm heat setups are correct and inform beach marshals

• Help manage the priority system throughout competition heats

⛑️ Safety Volunteers

Support water safety and first aid operations — a vital role to help ensure everyone stays safe throughout the event.

📺 Live Coverage

Be part of our digital team!
Assist with:

• Managing the live stream

• Updating live scoring

• Providing real-time updates for online spectators

Availability & Competitor Considerations 

You’ll be able to indicate in the form:

• Which days you’re available

• Any specific times you can or cannot help on those days (optional notes field)

If you are competing, we understand that your events come first. We will only schedule you for volunteer support when it won’t impact your participation.
