On Friday evening, weather permitting, we will walk through the English Garden to the famous beer garden by the Chinese Tower. A casual dinner, beer, and pretzels may be purchased there, although vegetarian and vegan options, while existent, are less than abundant. There is also excellent non-alcoholic beer and other cold soft drinks available.
You may also be interested to bring a bathing suit. Although not an official Congress event, sunbathing and swimming are activities many also enjoy during hot weather in the English Garden. You might also enjoy watching the surfers in the Eisbach or drinking an aperitif at the nearby Haus der Kunst.
