What is a pre-med student?
Pre-medical students are students who plan on going to M.D. school, D.O. school, podiatry school, or Naturopatic Medical school after they graduate.
M.D. vs. D.O.
Both M.D.s and D.O.s can do the same jobs. The difference between the two, is the training in school. D.O.s have extra curriculum on osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM). OMM is a hands on treatment technique. For more information on this, watch this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vHn6pers97Q
