About Us

The Euphoria Child Care Experience

 Euphoria Child Care has been exploring, educating, and loving the children of Cumberland since 2011. Founded by myself, Michelle Beek, I have thoroughly loved exploring, discovering, learning, and growing with the many children and families in my care. 

 I have a Diploma in Early Childhood and Education with a Specialty in Children With Diverse Abilities. I have 28 years experience in this field. I have worked as a Support Educator, Substitute Educator, and  Aboriginal Head Start Co-Ordinator through out the many Child Care Centres on this beautiful island, we call home.

 I have always had a love, passion, and connection with and for nature, children, and learning.

 It all started growing up on the North Island where the forest was my back yard and the ocean and river were my front.  I'd explore in nature for hours with my childhood friends, coming home only when it got dark or I was hungry.

 I then took this passion for learning and the outdoors and have explored 23 different countries.

 I now get to continue exploring, discovering, learning, and growing with the children in my care.  Following my childhood dream, to be an Educator.

 I'm so grateful to be doing what I'm passionate about and love. Helping spread this awareness, respect, and love for nature and all living beings with the children and families in our village.

  To further contribute and give back to nature the kids and I do two fundraisers a year. Supporting both Cumberland Community Forest and the Mountainaire Avian Rescue Society. We also are part of the Salmon Enhancement Program.
