PhD Student
I am a PhD student and a coordinator of the Speech Acquisition Lab in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Utah.
My current research examines individual talker differences and their impact on learners' perception of novel speech sounds in L2. In particular, I am interested in a better understanding of how adult L2 learners perceive Korean three-way stop contrasts (e.g., /k/, /kʰ/, and /k*/) and how individual talkers influence their perception.
