18th Free workshop on metaheuristics for a better world

The 18th EU/ME workshop on metaheuristics for a better world will take place in Rome, Italy, on April 3 and 4, 2017.

EU/ME 2017 will be hosted by IASI-CNR, the Istituto di Analisi dei Sistemi ed Informatica, part of Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche.

This workshop aims to bring together researchers from all over the world interested in discussing the latest progress in the field of metaheuristic optimization.

Conference location

The address of the conference location is IASI-CNR, Via dei Taurini 19, 00185 Roma

The institute is conveniently located in the proximity of the center of Rome, nearby the Termini central station, and few minutes walking from the University of Rome "La Sapienza". The area is rich in hotels, Bed& Breakfast, and public transports, a few hundred meters separate IASI from San Lorenzo, the young and lively Bohemian neighbourhood filled with pubs, bars and restaurants for all tastes.

  • By train: 10 minutes walk from Roma Central Train Station «Roma Termini»
  • By bus or tram, use the following App / website
  • By car: the location is central and the traffic can be high. Free parking is scarcely available in the proximity of IASI, charge for parking meter is 2 euros per hour. More expensive private parkings abound.
